A World Goes Mad

Spread the love

A world gone madDark rolling clouds cover the sky,

Silence punctuated with screams of disbelief,

Small pockets of destructions litter the landscape,

Blood runs on to the streets of the civilised,

The distorted disease blinds the truth,

Madmen dance in sand and dies,

As explosions pepper the innocence,

Blood flows across rock and rubble,

Justice stands blind and bound in red tape,

Logic abandons the stage,

While warmongers call for annihilation,

Blood, blood is the call from unwise leaders,

Sky fills with birds of death,

The ground rumbles with the sounds of boots,

Hate and fear is the fire that burns,

Blood leaks from windows and walls,

Wise people question the hidden truth,

Who? What? Why? And how they ask,

As media points blame at false targets,

Blood turns bad as brother turns on brother,

Reaction of fear is the desired results,

We all get the war that the leaders want,

Conflict in all direction,

Blood stains our land,

Name your enemy, expose your foe,

You have a plan, its off to war we go,

So our family will have to die,

Blood is spilt for a lie,

Is this the only way?

Can we bring the peacemakers in to the play?

Tell me theirs no better way,

Blood no more we say,

About Mr BPD

About Author. I have Borderline Personality Disorder and as a writer and poet I explore my madness through the creative arts. I have a personal belief that even in darkness light exists and it is a personal responsibility to always seek the light and I find the light in creating something.
