Spring as sprung

Spring as sprungSpring breezes carry chills;

As children kick balls at walls,

The dog sleeps in a sun – warmed spot.

And the seconds tic like hours;

As the buds begs to blossom,

The daffodils dance in a golden glow.

People gather as sunlight breaches clouds;

Bar B Q dreams rise and crash,

As gardens are invaded.

Echoes of chitter chatter fills the urban space;

While lawn mowers growl at the boarders,

Glasses clink and beer cans crack and laughter fill the air,

And spring as sprung
