Love on the borderline

Spread the love

Love on the borderlineWhy would you love a thing like me?

Untrusting with reason but you I give trusts keep,

My screams of pain the violent mood,

The childish acts…

Your leave soon.

I burden you with others sins,

A battle you will never win.

But my love is deep and true,

Hurt me please it all I deserve.

Your kindness wounds me,

Deepest cuts along old scares,

The past is reflected in the present,

See me and understand you can’t save me.

In your absence I fear the worst,

Abandonment mixed with paranoid betrayal,

Love lays then lies,

Repel and hide my choice

I wish you would walk away,

Realise it’s best you can not stay,

Your happiness is far away;

Time to push you away.

My love was true and designed for you,

I set my traps and you did fail,

Unattached without a thought,

I hold the pain I blame you brought.

But you will not walk away,

Your always stay just one more day,

You will take the bile and hate and even the hand of fate,

Because you know that my love is hard to show.

You have my heart but not the mind,

Two souls start to entwine,

Your find me seeking, looking hard,

A psychopath is hunting be on your guard.

The diagnosis is not me but the symptoms you will see,

So I ask once again…

Who will love a freak like me?

Forewarned would you take a second glance?
