Dancing on the periphery of my memories,
So familiar that your presence is contemptuous,
Your movements so subtle and light,
A dark dance of delight heralds your arrival,
Your attire signifies the importance,
Soft and grey like ghostly apparition,
The quick passing melancholy,
In Victorian morning dress you take root,
Now my old friend we will sit and stay,
Face to face in darkest glow its the shadows that know,
Memories of the past revealed the emotions unsealed
And time does pass and things do change
My friend depression has gone away
